Food chain Burger King was highly criticised by people for creating a racist advertisement in which it has shown people eating a burger with the big red chopsticks. The ad was culturally insensitive and so faced backlash from the users on social media. It was later removed by the food chain, who apologised for being insensitive. The advertisement surfaced in New Zealand on Instagram which gathered over 2.7m views.
