Indian Film market spent Rs 606 cr in 2018!

Pre-release promotion and hype have touched new heights in the film industry in the last couple of years. In 2018, the filmmakers and the studios spent Rs 606 crore on the marketing and promotional campaigns. Out of the total spend, 75% spent on television and digital media promotion. According to Vinit Karnik, business head of ESP properties, TV continues to be the best media for film marketing.
