The ASCI, Ad industry’s self-regulatory body said that its Consumer Complaints Council evaluated 277 ads & has upheld complaints against 232 ads. They pulled up 4 ads that violated celebrity endorsement guidelines that include cricketer Virat Kohli & Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt. Kohli endorsed a bike brand that drove rashly violating traffic rules; while Alia endorsed shampoo that claims to keep hair fresh for 72 hours.
