5G and OS coming as OnePlus to invest in first Indian R&D facility

Mobile giant OnePlus will invest Rs.1,000 crore in its first Indian Research and Development (R&D) facility situated in Hyderabad. The first phase of the facility was opened by former Telangana IT minister KT Rama Rao and Telangana IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan. It is learnt that the facility, which will have around 1,500 employees, is looking to focus on software development, 5G, and modifications to its Operating System (OS).
