Beijing and Tokyo join hands on a billion dollar currency swap deal

Friday, Beijing and Tokyo finalized a multi-billion dollar currency swap deal to enhance the economic and financial stability and the business opportunities in both China and Japan. For the first time in 7 years, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has visited Beijing and the deal was finalized then. The deal will allow both the countries to exchange 3.4 trillion yen or 200 billion yuan until 25th October 2021.
