CEO's see pay grow surge to 1,000%, make 278 times more than the average worker

The pay gap continues to grow and now in the latest revelation, since 1978, CEO compensation rose by 1,007.5%, compared to the average workers who have seen an 11.9% growth so far, according to the Economy Policy Institute. With the wealth disparity continuing, especially since the financial crisis, the pay gap is widening at an alarming rate. Institute researchers have called for action to reduce the gap by taxing more.
