FB CEO Mark Zuckerberg shared private user data with many of app developer friends. He used the data as a reward to 3rd party developers/companies who had a favourable relationship with the company or spent considerably on ads. The documents obtained by journalists included emails, presentations, meeting summaries & internal webchats from within the company. These helped FB lead the social media network during 2011-2015.
