To stop the spread of fake news, misinformation and hate speech on its platforms, Instagram will soon start publishing posts after getting checked by Facebook’s fact-checking partners and the News Feed Integrity team. Now the images carrying a fake message on Facebook will be tracked on Insta using image recognition technology while questionable Insta posts will be flagged and sent directly to Facebook’s fact checkers.
