Former Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn and former director Gregor Kelly settled charges with the US securities and exchange commission. With substantial assistance, Ghosn attempted to conceal more than $90 million of his own pay from 2009 until his arrest in Tokyo back in 2018. The scheme included increasing Ghosn’s pension by more than $ 50M. Nissan has been also charged for violating anti-fraud provisions by the commission.
