Google’s texting app, Messages has been making its way to more devices as it recently, surpassed 500 million downloads from Google's Play Store on Android phones, a milestone for any application. This is a big thing for the giant as Google doesn’t require phone manufacturers to pre-install this app as a part of the Google Mobile Services package. It is also in the top 25 in the communication category in the Play Store.
