India beats China in mobile data consumption with 8.3 GB data monthly usage

India will see a rise in internet users by 40% & smartphones to double by 2023, as data costs drop by 95%. A report says India to be one of the fastest & largest growing markets for digital consumers with 560 million internet subscribers in 2018. Indian mobile users use 8.3 GB of data monthly as compared to 5.5 GB in China. Monthly mobile data usage is growing at 152% annually more than twice the rates in US & China.
