Ireland's Supreme Court rejects Facebook plea to block ECJ data case

The Supreme Court of Ireland has rejected the plea by the social media giant Facebook on Friday to stop its referral of case in which it transferred the data of the citizens of EU to the US. The European Court of Justice will hear the case in July. The issue raised by Austrian privacy activist Max Schrems against Fb has raised a question of whether methods used to transfer data outside the EU give consumers protection.
