Japan's Panasonic was halting business with Huawei, joining a list of growing firms distancing themselves from the Chinese telecom giant after the US ban over security concerns. The ban applies to goods having 25% or more of US-originated materials. Panasonic to suspend transactions with Huawei & its 68 affiliates that were banned by the US govt. KDDI & SoftBank Corp too were delaying the release of Huawei handsets.
