Original moonwalk tape of Apollo11 sell for $1.8 million at auction

NASA's original videotapes depicting the Apollo 11 lunar landing on this day 50 years ago were sold in New York for $1.82 million at a Sotheby's auction. The price is 8000 times more than what NASA intern had paid $217.77 for the original videotapes in 1976. The videotape is 2 hours & 24 mins long, which includes Neil Armstrong's famous declaration- 'That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind'.
