Wipro secures $300 million deal from ICICI Bank

Wipro has acquired a huge 7-year contract worth $300 million from ICICI Bank. The deal, which is expected to be wrapped up by September 30, sees the IT major offering a range of services via its artificial intelligence platform Wipro HOLMES. Wipro will acquire Vara Infotech, a service provider to ICICI Bank, taking on board Vara Infotech's 3,800 employees after business transfer agreement of Rs 321 crore completes.
