According to a study by researchers at Imperial College London, mass vaccination and lockdown measures have helped UK in controlling the Covid infection rate in the country. As per the study, infections dropped by nearly 60% after the lockdowns were imposed. The study by the researchers also found that "infections may have resulted in fewer hospitalizations and deaths since the start of widespread vaccination.”
