5 occurrences of Cytomegalovirus (CVM)-related rectal bleeding in Covid-19 patients were reported on Tuesday from Delhi's Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, marking the first such post-Covid-19 complication in India. CMV patients have reported blood in their faeces and stomach ache, according to authorities. Officials from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital stated that one of the patients died as a result of severe bleeding and Covid chest illness.
