United States government has decided to send more than $266 million in aid to Afghanistan for bolstering the fight against Covid-19. "We remain engaged through our full diplomatic, economic and assistance toolkit to support the peaceful, stable future the Afghan people want and deserve," top US diplomat Antony Blinken said. The $266.5 million aid includes $157.5 million from USAID and $109 million from the State Department.
