AMU vice-chancellor writes to ICMR after 34 Covid-deaths in 18 days

A huge Covid cluster has triggered a situation of panic inside the Aligarh Muslim University campus. 34 serving and retired faculty members, who were living in and aorund the university campus, have passed away after contracting Covid-19 or showing Covid-related symptoms in the past 18 days. Vice-Chancellor Tariq Mansoor has written a letter to ICMR, requesting the body to find out if a particular COVID-19 variant is circulating.
