As the coronavirus pandemic continues to unleash havoc on the poorer section of the society, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced that autorickshaw drivers and taxi drivers in the national capital will be given Rs 5000 each by the government. Kejriwal said the step has been taken to provide little help to "all autorickshaw drivers and taxi drivers in Delhi" amid the financial crisis posed by the pandemic.
