The WHO said Bharat Biotech has been submitting data on the Emergency Use Listing of Covaxin "regularly and very quickly". When asked about the delay in approval for the vaccine, the UN health agency said that it "trusts" the Indian industry. "We are right now at the last stage of the assessment by this external advisory group and we hope to have a final recommendation to the WHO next week," said Dr. Mariangela Simao.
