BHU health authorities puzzled as Covid negative mother gives birth to Covid positive baby in Varanasi

In a one of its kind case, a mother whose Covid-19 report had come out negative gave birth to a Covid-19 positive baby in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi. The shocking case has left health officials at BHU puzzled. The incident happened at the SS Hospital in Banaras Hindu University on May 25. An inquiry has been ordered into the incident by BHU medical superintendent. The woman has been identified as Supriya Prajapati.
