Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Mayor Kishori Pednekar called for a complete lockdown in Mumbai. She said that while 95 percent of Mumbaikars are adhering to COVID-19 restrictions, the remaining 5 percent are showing irresponsible behaviour, causing trouble for others. She also said that "those returning from Kumbh Mela to their respective states will distribute Corona as 'prasad'" and they should be quarantined.
