Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel has said that children over the age of 12 will start receiving the coronavirus vaccine from June 7. Merkel, however, said vaccination would not be compulsory for children. "And it would be totally wrong to think you can only go on holiday with a vaccinated child," she said while addressing the parents. She further added that schools would not require pupils to be vaccinated.
