America is once again witnessing a surge in deaths due to the coronavirus pandemic. The deadly pandemic has now killed almost as many Americans as the 1918-19 Spanish flu pandemic did. Over 675,000 people have lost their lives due to the pandemic. "We hope it will be like getting a cold, but there's no guarantee,” said Emory University biologist Rustom Antia while suggesting that the virus could become a mild seasonal bug.
