Covid-19 infection rate in Dhaka jumps to 28% in one month

The coronavirus infection has once again started spreading at a rapid rate in Bangladesh. The infection rate in the capital city of Dhaka has climbed to 28 percent from 3 percent in the last month. Hospitals across the city have warned that they will run out of beds if the infection rate doesn't come down in the coming days. The city has recorded over 5,500 Covid-19 deaths so far, which accounts for 36.32% of total deaths.
