Covid19 patients might have to wait for months to get back sense of taste and smell

According to a study by the researchers from Canada's University of Quebec, patients suffering from Covid might not get back the sense of taste and smell for up to five months after contracting the virus. As many as 813 health care workers who tested positive for the pandemic were surveyed by the researchers before reaching the conclusion. Over 70% of the volunteers said that they lost their sense of smell.
