Covid-19 vaccination prevent 10,400 deaths in older adults: Study

According to the results from a study by Public Health England, Covid vaccine doses helped in preventing the deaths of some 10,400 older people in England. As per the study, thousands of lives among those aged 60 or above have been saved in four months due to vaccination. As per an estimate, 9,100 deaths in those aged 80 and above were prevented due to vaccination. The number was 1,200 in 70 to 79-year-olds.
