DRDO builds 300-bed Covid hospital in Assam stadium in 20 days

A 300-bed Covid-19 hospital has been opened at a stadium complex in Guwahati by the Assam government to fight the coronavirus pandemic. The hospital has been built by the Defence Research and Development Organisation in 20 days at a cost of Rs. 21.46 crore. The hospital has been built in Sarusajai Stadium and has as many as 200 beds in the general ward with oxygen facility and 100 intensive care unit beds.
