Five WTO members states including India account for 75% of global Covid-19 vaccine production

World Trade Organisation Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala said on Wednesday that five member nations- China, India, Germany, the United States, and France, are accountable for the production of nearly 75 percent of the entire global output of COVID-19 vaccines this year. Okonjo-Iweala highlighted the unequal recovery of the global economy while linking it to the discriminatory access to vaccines.
