A curfew has been imposed in the entire Haridwar city in Uttarakhand, after the final Shahi Snan of the Kumbh Mela that was observed on Tuesday. Haridwar Municipal Corporation ordered the curfew. The final shahi snan went on and a huge number of people took a dip in the holy Ganga despite a surge in Covid cases in the city following the mass gathering for the event. Several seers lost their lives during this period.
