The United Nations Children's Fund has praised Bhutan as the Himalayan nation has achieved a remarkable feat by vaccinating 90% of its entire population with both doses in a matter of just 7 days. Bhutan received the vaccines from foreign donations. Bhutan has a population of just 8 lakhs and it ran a mass vaccination drive between July 20 and July 27. Unicef's Bhutan representative Will Parks lauded the country for the achievement.
