India set a mammoth record on PM Narendra Modi's 71st birthday, by administering more than 2.5 crore covid vaccines in a day. The country administered 466 doses per second to set the record. The number was achieved by 9:30 pm Friday. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya took to Twitter to confirm the "historic" figure. The Health Minister also thanked health workers across the country for working tirelessly.
