India logs 2,710 new covid cases, 14 deaths in last 24 hours

India saw a single day rise of 2,710 new coronavirus infections on Friday, taking the infection tally to 4,31,47,530, according to the Union health ministry data. With this the active cases in the country increased to 15,814. India’s Covid-19 death toll climbed to 5,24,539 with 14 more fatalities today. An increase of 400 cases has been recorded in the active Covid-19 caseload in a span of 24 hours.
