India records 14,348 fresh Covid-19 cases, 805 deaths in last 24 hours

India recorded as many as 14,348 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the active caseload in the country to 1,61,334. As many as 805 people lost their lives due to the pandemic in the same time period. The recovery rate in the country improved to 98.19 percent with over 13,198 patients recovering in the last 24 hours. The active caseload in the country accounts for 0.47 percent of the total cases.
