India recorded 15,906 new COVID-19 cases, 561 deaths in the last 24 hours, pushing the overall caseload to 3,41,75,468 and the total death toll to 4,54,269, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Sunday. A decrease of 1,134 cases has been recorded in the total active number of COVID-19 cases in a span of 24 hours. Currently, there are a total of 1,72,59 active coronavirus infections in the country.
