India records 18,346 Covid-19 cases, 263 deaths in last 24 hours

India recorded as many as 18,346 fresh Covid-19 cases, the lowest in 209 days, taking the total caseload to 3,38,53,048. The death toll in the country climbed to 4,49,260 with 263 deaths in the same time period. The active caseload in the country stands at 2,52,902 and accounts for less than 1 percent of the total infections in the country. The recovery rate in the country has improved to 97.93 percent.
