India records 25,404 fresh Covid-19 cases, 339 deaths in the last 24 hours

India recorded as many as 25,404 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, a decline of 6.7 percent from a day earlier, with Kerala being the biggest contributor with 15,058 cases. 339 deaths were recorded in the same time period, marking a significant jump in daily deaths from 219 deaths reported a day earlier. NITI Aayog's Dr VK Paul recently said that masks won't go away until the next year.
