India records 26,115 fresh Covid-19 cases, 252 deaths in last 24 hours

India recorded 26,115 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total caseload to 33.5 million. The death toll in the country climbed to 4,45,385 with 252 deaths in the same time period. The active caseload in the country stands at 309,575, which is the lowest in 184 days. Active cases account for less than 1% of the total cases. The total recoveries in the country have gone beyond 3,27,49,574.
