India records 39,742 Covid cases, 535 deaths in last 24 hours

India recorded over 39,742 fresh coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total caseload to over 3.13 crore cases. The Covid-related deaths in the country have gone beyond 4.2 lakh with 535 deaths in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate in the country has declined to 2.24%. More than 43 crore people have been vaccinated in the country till now. Over 46 lakh vaccine doses were administered on Saturday alone.
