India recorded 43,263 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total caseload to 33,139,981. The death toll in the country climbed to 441,749 with 338 fatalities in the same time period. The active cases in the country stand at 393,614 whereas the total recoveries have reached 32,304,618. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, over 536,817,243 samples were tested for Covid-19 till September 8.
