India records 43,509 fresh Covid-19 cases, 640 deaths in last 24 hours

Covid-19 cases are once again on a rise in India with 43,509 fresh Covid-19 cases being recorded in the last 24 hours. The active caseload in the country stands at 4.03 lakh. As many as 640 Covid-related deaths were recorded in the country in the same time period, taking the total death toll to over 4.22 lakh. Over 38,465 patients recovered from the disease successfully in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate stands at 97.38%.
