India registers 134,154 fresh Covid cases, 2,887 deaths in 24 hours

The total caseload in India reached 28,441,986, with 134,154 fresh Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours. As many as 2,887 people lost their lives due to the infection in the same period. The total death toll in the country now stands at 337,989. It's been a week since over 2 lakh cases were reported in a day. The country now has 1,713,413 active cases and the positivity rate here stands at 6.34 percent.
