India registers 23,529 fresh Covid-19 cases, 311 deaths in last 24 hours

After reporting less than 20,000 daily cases for two straight days, India's Covid tally once again breached the 20,000-mark. The country recorded 23,529 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total caseload to 3,37,39,980. The death toll in the country was pushed to 4,48,062 with 311 people losing their lives in the same time period. The active caseload in the country stands at 2,77,020 and accounts for 0.82% of total cases.
