India registers 35,342 fresh Covid-19 cases, 483 deaths in last 24 hours

India recorded as many as 35,342 fresh coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total caseload to over 3.1 crores. This marked a 14.5% drop in daily Covid cases from yesterday. The country registered 483 Covid-related deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to over 4.19 lakh. More than 42 crore people have been vaccinated in the country till now. The positivity rate in the country stands at 2.14%.
