Indonesia records 45,416 fresh Covid cases, surpasses India, Brazil in terms of daily cases

As many as 45,416 fresh coronavirus cases were recorded in Indonesia on Sunday. This was more than the daily cases recorded by Brazil, India. According to Worldometer data, Brazil registered 38,091 fresh coronavirus cases whereas India registered over 39,742 fresh cases. Indonesia has recorded over 3,166,505 cases and 83,279 Covid-related deaths till now. The country has emerged as a new global epicentre of the virus.
