Ladakh authorities extend curfew till May 24 in view of Covid-19

The curfew imposed in Ladakh in view of rising Covid-19 cases has been extended by another week till May 24 to curb the outbreak. The curfew was scheduled to end on May 17 but the district magistrates of Leh and Kargil decided to give it an extension. According to Leh District Magistrate Shrikant Balasaheb Suse, the curfew was extended to ensure that the infection does not spread further in the union territory.
