Major-General Dany Fortin, the military officer who held the charge of vice-president for logistics and operations under Canada's public health agency, has been ousted. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had himself appointed Fortin the vice president for leading the vaccination program in the country. He was also responsible for establishing and supervising the national operations centre, the central office for the vaccination program.
