Moderna vaccine gets approval from Australian regulator amid lockdown in New South Wales
Amid the lockdown in New South Wales in view of a surge in Covid-19 cases, Moderna's Covid-19 vaccine has received provisional approval from Australia's medical regulator. Moderna's vaccine was approved for use among Australian adults by the Therapeutic Goods Administration, said PM Scott Morrison. Australia will receive one million doses of the vaccine in September. The government aims to vaccinate 70% population by 2021 end.
