Nasal spray of modified antibody could provide protection against Covid, finds study

According to a study published in the journal Nature, a nasal spray of an engineered antibody offers protection against Covid-19. Zhiqiang Ku, an antibody engineer at the University of Texas Health Science Center, and his team is working to engineer the antibody to make it suitable for direct delivery to the nose. Fragments of IgG targeting SARS-CoV-2 were stitched to a different type of molecule, IgM antibodies, by the researchers.
